Founded in 2003 byDon J. Giacchetti.

TACT Solutions, Inc. was founded in 2003 by Don J. Giacchetti as a privately held consulting firm focused on providing general management, strategic, marketing, operational, and financial advice, counsel, and solutions to small-to-medium sized business clients.

Don has over 35 years of executive leadership experience including Fortune 500 corporate and smaller entrepreneurial business organizations.

Don’s broad background allows utilization of talents in the capacity of CEO, President, COO, General Manager, VP or Special Projects Exec depending on the needs of the client organization and the skill sets of the other executive team members.

Medical Device & Technology — Special Consultant

Engaged as a Special Consultant to a large medical device and technology firm for its $100M respiratory care division — facilitated annual strategic planning, presented at the regional sales management meeting and assisted executive management in assessing sales processes, target customer criteria, distribution channels, sales forecasting/reporting and organizational structures.

Predictive Analytics & ASIC — Interim CEO

Retained as Interim CEO for a start-up computer technology firm developing disruptive predictive analytics software and ASIC chip hardware that delivers extreme computing speed by addressing the I/O bottleneck between data storage and CPU memory.

Telecom / Energy Grid — Management Consultant

Engaged as a Management Consultant facilitating strategic planning sessions and performing special projects for a multi-state engineering services firm providing "last mile" telecom delivery and energy grid management services.

National Tech-Stack Integrator — Special Consultant

Engaged as a Special Consultant providing strategic advice to the owner of a National Tech-Stack Systems Integrator delivering world-class design, integration, configuration and ongoing management of advanced commercial technology — Internet access, network infrastructure, A/V systems and Managed Services Provider (MSP) services.

Nano-Tech Medical Device — Special Advisor

Retained as a Special Advisor providing general management advice, business planning and fund-raising support to an early-stage medical device company using nano technology with thin-layer polymers as a platform for medical drug delivery.

Medical Device Division — President

Retained as President for a $20M medical device design-development-manufacturing division of a publicly held firm. Implemented new sales processes, focused on essential business management practices, established critical credibility with the corporate parent and coached an existing team member to become General Manager.

Information Management Software/Hardware — Interim CEO

Retained as interim-CEO and strategic & operational consultant for an information management software/hardware firm. Developed the formal strategic business plan with owners and management including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash-Flow and operational initiatives. Restructured sales distribution focus and implemented new product pricing including highly profitable annual maintenance/support services.

Integrated Marketing Services — President

Retained as President for an integrated marketing services company using digital media. Worked with the CEO/Founder to shift strategy toward higher margin content ownership and project management services. Obtained critical outside bank financing to manage working capital needs.

Board & Advisory Roles

Retained as an outside Director on the Board of Directors and as Special Advisor to a privately held data storage firm; and as a Special Advisor to a web applications security software firm.
